O investigador independente de segurança Kevin Finisterre e o hacker LMH, que não revela a sua identidade, prometem divulgar, diariamente, uma vulnerabilidade dos produtos da Apple a partir de 1 de Janeiro e até ao final do mês.

O início da iniciativa "Month of Bugs" pode acabar com a imagem atribuída aos Macs como computadores pessoais completamente seguros e estáveis.

O projecto dos dois investigadores é revelar falhas no nível kernel no Mac OS X, assim como em software como o Safari, iTunes, iPhoto e Quicktime.

"Alguns erros representam um risco significativo", garante LMH, mas aponta "que outras têm um impacto menor em segurança".
